Warhawk Men Snap Two Game Skid; Women Lose at Stout

The 14th ranked UW-Whitewater men’s basketball team forced 25 turnovers and snapped a two game losing streak with an 83-60 win over Stout at the Kachel Gym.  Whitewater held the WIAC’s leading scorer, John Keefe, to 13 points. The Warhawks were paced by senior guard Andre Brown with 20.  Whitewater is now 12-2 overall and 1-2 in the WIAC and will be at LaCrosse Saturday at 7.

The UW-Whitewater women’s basketball team lost at Stout 78-68.  The Blue Devils forced 20 Warhawk turnovers. Sophomore guard Emily Schumacher posted a team-best 17 points.  Whitewater falls to 8-6 overall and 1-2 in the WIAC and will host LaCrosse Saturday at 3.
