Closs Abduction, Murder Suspect Makes First Court Appearance Monday

We could learn a lot more about the abduction of 13-year-old Jayme Closs and the shooting deaths of her parents next week.  Twenty-one-year-old suspect Jake Patterson makes his first court appearance Monday afternoon (3:30 P-M) and the Barron County Attorney’s Office is expected to release the criminal complaint.  Closs was reunited with her aunt Jennifer Smith Friday afternoon.  A picture of the two of them smiling with Jayme’s dog Molly was posted on social media.  Authorities spent several hours Friday searching the home near the Town of Gordon where Jayme was allegedly being held by Patterson.  She was able to escape Thursday and provide investigators a description of Patterson and his vehicle.  Prosecutors plan to charge him with first-degree kidnapping and two counts of first-degree homicide.
