Flood Watch in Portions of Southern, Central Wisconsin

The Rock River at Watertown went from just under three feet yesterday to 4.7 feet this morning, in the action stage, and is now expected to peak at 5.3 feet by Monday, just below minor flooding. The National Weather Service forecasts are based on past precipitation, and expected precipitation for the next 24 hours.

The Rock at Jefferson went from 7 feet yesterday to 8.72 feet this morning, putting it in the action stage. Its now predicted to be in the minor flooding stage tomorrow, and to peak at 10.9 feet Sunday. Major flooding is 11 feet.

The Rock at Fort Atkinson is now at the Action stage of 14 feet, and
expected to peak at 15.9 feet early next week. Minor flooding is 16 feet.

And Lake Koshkonong rose slightly, but is still below 8 feet. It is now, however, expected to be at the action stage of 9 feet Saturday, minor flooding at 10 feet Sunday, and peak at 11.3 feet by midweek. The Major flooding stage is 11.5 feet.
