Janesville Neighbors Want Bar’s Live Music Events To Be Shut Down

People living near Hammy’s Roadside Bar in Janesville say they want the summer’s live music events shut down.  They showed up at a City Council meeting last week asking that the Alcohol Licensing Committee refuse to renew the bar’s outdoor music permit.  They say it’s just too loud.  Owner Suzanne Hamilton says she’s doing everything she can to keep the noise down.  The bar hosts about eight live music events each summer, roughly every other weekend from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
