One Giant Inning Sinks Brewers Sunday

A Major League-leading 32nd home run for Christian Yelich wasn’t nearly enough as the Milwaukee Brewers lost Sunday to the San Francisco Giants 8-3 at Miller Park. Giants starter Tyler Beede held the Brewers to three runs on seven hits in six and two-thirds innings. He struck out seven and didn’t issue a walk.

The game turned on a six run seventh inning when Milwaukee’s Corbin Burnes gave up four hits and four runs without retiring a batter.
