Brewers Score in Late Innings to Take 5-1 Win at Arizona

The Brewers scored three times in the eighth inning to break a 1-1 tie on the way to a 5-1 win at Arizona Thursday night.  A run-scoring single by Orlando Arcia put the Brewers up and handed Zach Davies his eighth win of the season.  Davies pitched seven innings giving up five hits and a single run.

Ryan Braun hit his 14th home run as The Brewers moved two games behind the NL Central-leading Chicago Cubs and took over the second wild-card spot with their third straight win. The Diamondbacks fell 1 1/2 games behind Milwaukee to open a key four-game series for both contending teams.

Jhoulys Chacin starts tonight as Milwaukee goes for its fourth win in-a-row. We’ll have live game coverage on 940 WFAW beginning at 8:05.
