A missed last-second three-pointer cost the Wisconsin Badgers a chance at an upset Tuesday night against Number-20 Saint Mary’s in overtime, 65-63.
Nate Reuvers led the Badgers with 22 points, six rebounds and four blocked shots. Brad Davison added 16, but the Wisconsin bench only scored two points.
Both teams shot poorly and Wisconsin only connected on 26 percent of its three-pointers. Jordan Ford led the Gaels with 26.
The Badgers take on an easier opponent Friday when Eastern Illinois visits the Kohl Center.
