The Jefferson County Board of Supervisors last night unanimously approved re-wording the county Strategic Plan’s first goal. It now reads “Jefferson County is committed sustainable growth that improves the lives of our residents and other stakeholders and creates a more positive fiscal environment”.
County Administrator Ben Wehmeier announced special public meetings on the county’s Comprehensive Plan and Agricultural Preservation and Land Use Plan. The first meeting is in Lake Mills, June 24.
The Board also unanimously passed resolutions accepting Foster Parent Incentives Grant funding through the state Department of Children and Families, and supporting the continuation of the Knowles-Nelson Stewardship Program.
