Authorities in southeast Wisconsin are investigating a drowning on Lake Geneva. Police were called to a pier near the boat launch this morning (Friday) after witnesses spotted a man face down in the water. Lake Geneva police and firefighters recovered the victim from the lake, but life-saving efforts were unsuccessful. The victim is a 69-year-old from Mundelein, Illinois. His name will be released once his family is notified. The Walworth County Medical Examiner’s Office is assisting with the case.
