It’s Happening: Brewers 2020 Season Starts Today

When Kyle Hendricks finally throws that first pitch to Lorenzo Cain a little after 6:10 PM, the long wait for the 2020 Milwaukee Brewers baseball season will finally be over. The only fans present will be across the street from Wrigley Field on rooftops.

More than four months after spring training was canceled, Major League Baseball will try to squeeze in a 60-game season.

The pandemic still threatens to end the games prematurely, but players say they are ready to go.  The National League Central Division is probably the most wide-open division in baseball – with only the Pittsburgh Pirates given no chance to finish first.

The Brewers will be trying to make the post-season for a third straight year, something the franchise has never done before.
