Adrian Houser went the first seven innings, then turned it over to the bullpen as Milwaukee shutout the Chicago White Sox Wednesday 1-0.
That ended Chicago’s six-game winning streak.
Slumping outfielder Christian Yelich sat out the game after starting the season three-for-34. Eric Sogard singled in Mark Mathias with the only run in the third inning. Lefty Dallas Keuchel was only slightly less effective for the Sox, giving up one run on five hits in seven innings.
